Rock Point has been serving the greater Tuscaloosa, AL area for more than 30 years.   • Why rent with Rock Point?

    At Rock Point Rental, we treat our tenants like family. As one of the last remaining family-owned rental companies in town, we pride ourselves on the relationships we build with our tenants.

  • I am interested in a property, what do I do next?

    To schedule a showing at a property, please call our office at 205-345-0564 to speak with our Property Manager. Once you have decided that is where you want to live, you will fill out an online application. We do require a $25 non-refundable fee to apply. All potential tenants must apply, including their co-signer (if tenant is under 25) before leases can be sent. Next, you will be sent your lease to review and sign. We also require the Security Deposit be paid at the time the lease is signed. Once all roommates and co-signers have signed the lease and paid their Security Deposit then the unit is secured. Security Deposits are equal to one month’s rent. 

  • How long is a lease?

    We typically offer 12-month leases. However, always call our office to discuss lease terms and property availability!

  • How do I request maintenance for my unit?

    All maintenance requests should be submitted on your AppFolio Tenant Portal. The portal allows you to submit details and pictures of the request and submit preferred times for our maintenance staff to come resolve the issue. For emergencies during or after business hours, please call our office at 205-345-0564

  • What is an emergency maintenance request?

    Major flooding, fire, break-in, major plumbing issue, security issue (door not secured) is all considered an emergency. Please call our office immediately!

  • What utilities am I responsible for?

    Each unit has specific utilities that a tenant would be responsible for. However, we provide pest control and landscaping at all units. Each unit on the Availability page will show what utilities are included with rent. Our Property Manager can guide you through the process to have utilities connected at your property. You also can always find a copy of your lease on your Tenant Portal. 

  • Do you allow Pets?

    We do allow pets at each property! You must pay a $500 non-refundable pet fee and sign our Pet Agreement.

  • When do I pay Rent?

    Rent is always due on the 1st of the month and is considered late on the 5th. Rent can be paid online using your Tenant Portal or you can decide to mail or bring payment to our office.

  • What is your mailing address?
